A Place for Everyone, A Home for All
The Feast of St. Michael’s & All Angels
Sunday, September 28th
It’s that time again—when angels rejoice and chickens sizzle! Join us for our annual celebration of St. Michael, our beloved patron saint, with a joyful worship service followed by a finger-lickin’ chicken barbecue out on the lawn.
But wait—what’s a feast without the fixings? We’re counting on you to bring your best sides and desserts to share. Whether it’s Grandma’s mac & cheese or a tray of heavenly cupcakes, every dish adds to the joy. Sign-up sheets are posted—claim your spot before the angels do!
Come hungry, come grateful, come ready to celebrate the spirit of St. Michael’s in full flavor.
Where is Little Jesus this summer?
At the start of summer, our children’s ministry—led by Crystal Suarez—shared tiny Jesus figurines to remind us that Jesus journeys with us wherever we go. This special outreach isn’t just a sweet summer activity; it’s a powerful ministry for our children. When adults and families participate by sending in their “Little Jesus” photos, they’re showing our kids that faith isn’t just for Sunday mornings—it’s woven into our everyday lives. By sharing your pictures throughout the season (not just at the end!), you’re helping to nurture our children’s Christian development in a joyful and visible way.
Send your photos to Crystal or email them to webmaster@stmichaelsontheheights.org anytime this summer—we can’t wait to see where Little Jesus shows up next!Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
6pm on Mondays in the Church Parlor
From Parishioners to Friends is a heartfelt gathering at St. Michael’s-on-the-Heights where members come together to share their struggles and offer mutual support. It’s a space for honesty, connection, and encouragement, where parishioners transform challenges into opportunities for deeper friendships. Through open discussions and compassionate listening, this meeting reinforces the parish’s commitment to being a community where no one faces life’s hardships alone. Whether seeking guidance, offering comfort, or simply being present, participants embody the spirit of faith and fellowship that defines St. Michael’s.
